Our story

For those of you that don’t know, our meeting was like so many of our peers these days. In other words, we met online! What is more unusual is that we met on the “swipy” online dating app (you all know the one…) and that right from the get go we hit it off immediately.

What was meant to be a first date testing the waters and a simple coffee in town some 5 or 6 hours later had turned into a coffee, a glass of wine, a dinner, a few cocktails (a few more glasses of wine) and ultimately a 2 hour private karaoke booth session wailing our hearts out.

Upon eventually recovering from the hang over, Jane then enthusiastically called some friends to declare “this one has some potential.” To which I believe a majority of her friends replied “about time, the search has seen enough people!!!”

Meanwhile, not wanting to seem too keen and/or rush things too much, John was busy researching flats for us to move into and looking at diamond rings!

Since then our relationship has seen 2 x house-moves, 1 x house purchase, 5 x summer holidays, 3 x winter holidays, many romantic mini-breaks, many less than romantic climbing mini-breaks in rainy Wales, 3 x job changes and a whole kaleidoscope of everything and anything in between.

We are so pleased if you could join us for our special day, which will mark another milestone in our relationship.
